Monochrome pictures fascinate him. He knows that people find beauty in vibrant color but the countless shades between black and white capture emotions, a lot better than any red, blue or yellow. Skeletal black trees covered in pure white snow standing on ashen lawns, sometimes held against the backdrop of steel grey mountains or perhaps a clear white expanse of sky.
